What is a trustee?
A trustee is a man who is a faithful and loyal member of Buckeye Baptist Church and meets the same qualifications as a deacon, with the only qualification excepted being "husband of one wife." The trustees have control and general management of the affairs of the church corporation. They shall supervise and care for all monies. The trustees shall control all deposits and withdrawals. They shall see that all departments operate within their budgets, or if that is impossible, shall make such adjustments as necessary. The finances of the church are in the hands of the trustees, but they are to carry out these duties in total cooperation with the Pastor and deacons. The trustees shall also care for all the property of the church and do all things necessary to the maintenance and upkeep of said property.
Below you will see the men Buckeye Baptist Church has elected to serve as trustees.
