What is a trustee?
A trustee is a man who is a faithful and loyal member and meets the same qualifications as a deacon, with the only qualification excepted being "husband of one wife." The trustees have control and general management of the affairs of the church corporation. They supervise and care for all monies. The trustees control all deposits and withdrawals. They see that all departments operate within their budgets, or if that is impossible, make such adjustments as necessary. The finances of the church are in the hands of the trustees, but they carry out these duties in total cooperation with the Pastor and deacons. The trustees also care for all the property of the church and do all things necessary to the maintenance and upkeep of said property. Below you will see the men elected to serve as trustees at our church.
